Curriculum

Individualized Education Plan (IEP) based teaching is arrived at after comprehensive assessment and observation of the student. Multidisciplinary and Holistic Education approach based on frameworks of National Educations Policy is implemented through innovative curriculum. Teaching content is anchored in conceptual and experiential learning, life skills, initiative, analysis and reflection that promote learning and development. For autistic children the curriculum has a pivotal role to synergize motor and neural systems to develop intelligence, observation abilities and memory. It entails laborious exercises. Experiential learning is embedded for all subjects with conscious language pairing since communication is the major deficit in autism. Alongside NIOS curriculum, NCERT books, reference materials are liberally extracted and adapted for use at all stages of the school structure. Inculcation of healthy personal habits and teaching of soft skills like socially appropriate behavior, managing time, working in a team & creative abilities are of high priority.
